White Canvas
You can make of your career a colorful experience. Can you recall how your career started? Probably as a white canvas. All the job opportunities you've had are brushes of paint that added color. Ultimately, you are now the result of those experiences and your career is the painting. Does your painting tell a story? So, how can you tell your story from now on? These are questions that you may ask yourself and find out that your life is an Art. You are special and unique and no matter what opportunities have come your way, you have a good story to tell. So why don't you think for a moment: what did you learn from your previous experiences? or, why are you a better person as a result of them? what did you learn from the company you worked for? What would you replicate from this opportunity? What would you do different next time? What was the most fulfilling day of work that you can remember? What are you most proud of? What was your favorite task of the day? What can you improve?... These are self-discovery questions that are part of your story. Even the challenges you faced at work shaped you. All you can do is learn from them. When you see it like that, the perspective of your career changes and you realize that everything you have lived is important. You become excited to tell your story. Also, you realize that you have the power of choice and that you can continue to draw your canvas as a unique piece of Art.
